Celia Alcaraz
Hi there! I'm Celia, co-owner of Flower Bar Floral Design. I've been designing florals since graduating from Wayne State University in 2018 with a degree in Business Administration and Business Management. What started as a passion has grown into a business I'm incredibly grateful to share with my mom, creating beautiful floral designs for weddings, events, and celebrations throughout Southeast Michigan.

When I'm not surrounded by flowers, I'm also a Realtor with The Home Company, serving clients across Metro Detroit. I love helping people through some of life's biggest milestones—whether that's finding their dream home or creating unforgettable moments for their special events.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and our son, tackling a DIY home project, relaxing with a good book, or hanging out with our rescue dog and cats. I'm passionate about animal rescue and enjoy advocating for rescue organizations and helping animals who are looking for their forever homes.

Laura Huey
Laura is not only my business partner, but also my mother! Laura is a master gardener and has always had a passion and special knack for flowers and plants. After working at florist for a few years, her, my father and I started building out a coffee, fresh flower, pastry and gift shop in Ann Arbor. We owned Flower Bar for 6 years and it was such an amazing life experience. We learned so much along the way & made so many memories and friendships.

Laura, who not only brings a wealth of experience in the floral industry, but also has a deep love for gardening, rescue dogs, volunteering and reading. Laura strives to make sure that each and every customer is happy with their floral arrangement. She is a joy to be around and is dedicated to giving her best in everything that she does.
